Time lapsed like great river rolled on.
It seemed that I just breathed a sigh of relief from last semester, this summer vacation has passed an half.
To do something out of ordinary, I write journal in English today.
According to my report card, my composition grades keep the record of the poorest.
Somehow I merely don’t take a fancy to writing.
My thesaurus is not far from getting mold in my bookshelf.
Ironically, I yearn to reincarnate in a gifted writer afterlife.
Yesterday was the very first time in this summer vacation for me to enter the audio-visual center for I was deprived of lending books and videos till 7/29.
As usual, I thought I would very likely to hesitate which movie should I watch.
To my amazement, “If Only” captured my attention immediately.
It’s a comedy-like film.(Actually, a shed-tear-orientated tragedy.)
After reading the synopsis, it was categorized into “stale class.”
the plot gave me a sense of deja vu of having seen a similar movie the other day.
Nevertheless, I decided to watch it since the actress is a gorgeous woman who studied in a conservatory and the story take place in London.
And the film turned out to take me by surprise.
It was absolutely touching, completely different from “under Tuscan sun” and “love actually” which were highly recommended by my friends.
Maybe,to some extent, I have the shared feelings of the female character.
Furthermore, the scene of London Eye and the two theme songs are so fascinating.
Although ”If Only” didn’t gain popularity in Taiwan, it indeed provided food for thought.
We should seize very moment to treasure your loved ones.
