Adapted from Nicholas Spark’s bestseller, THE NOTEBOOK is a novel about frist love.
Last night, a decent freshman stayed at our room for UU-club.
Her reading DEAR JOHN, a latest novel from Nicholas Spark, stirred my curiosity about THE NOTEBOOK.
Furthermore, Erin has the English novel.
The synopsis:

The scene begun with a old man telling a story to recollect a old lady’s memories for she suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Here’s the story went,
An affluent girl Allie spent her summer before entering university in New York faraway from her home.
she met Noah, a poor guy.
They were head over heels in love with each other after a rendezvous.
However, with the end of the summer and her mother’s disapproval, this relationship was called to suspend.
They lost track for seven years.
Then,
Allie was engaged with a well-to-do businessman, while Noah lived alone in a house he promised to restore for Allie.
She accidentally glanced Noah’s photo in the newspaper while she trying her wedding dress…
They met again.
With the years of misunderstanding unraveled, Allie found her trapped in a dilemma.

“They live happily together.” the old man said.
“of course” the old lady replied.(my interpretation about “of course” is Allie’s wedding with the businessman…)

What amaze audiences is, the old man is Noah and the old lady is Allie!
It’s the most heart-touching part of this film.

Good one!
