I rang my Dad.
And I booked a ticket to Frankfurt as soon as he nodded.

The idea stroke me the other day when I was sitting on the shuttle bus, gazing pointlessly outside the window with my i-pod running.
I thought of you, my high school fast friend.
We once dreamed of being admitted to the same college, having a double date, being each other’s maid of honor, being a partner to travel all over the world…
All of those seemed far, far away from us.

When we were in high school, we were promised (I had no idea who said this…) to do whatever we yearn for as long as we get into the best school.
Yes?

Backpaking has always been my dream, our dream.
Sometimes, if we don’t go after things, the things won’t go after us.
Just for once in my college, I want to step out and begin my odyssey.
I’m coming your way—2009 1/27~2/19!
Please remember to give me a warm hug like people do in the TV-shows and drop some moved tears.

Ugh…I have to get my visa, I hate paper work…
