It was the second week of this semester, my Acer died. I went through five stages of grief in a day. Waited for another two weeks, (Why the wait? Had no idea why I did that.) and bought a Macbook Air. Not too excited. Don’t know if I have enough money for the next few months…
So here’s the problem. I can’t type in Chinese and I don’t want the rubber on my keyboard either.
Here are the tidbits of my boring life.
1.
(Texting with my friend in class…I’m a bad student…)
Me: feel like not learning anything new today…
S: Money well spent :P
Me: Bang!!!
S: Haha, was there supposed to be a picture?
Me: No…I got the biggest bang out of my buck…?!?! lol
S:Ooo hahaha gotcha.
2.
In one of our team meetings, my manager shared the results of culture survey with the team. It was not good. People are not happy. The senior management is seeking feedbacks from every team. However, organization change is never easy, especially in large organizations. You might find the management “welcome” feedbacks. When you speak our mind…you buy yourself a lot of trouble. So everyone in my team is a little cynical about the whole thing.
The sr. compensation consultant jokingly made a suggestion.
He went, “How about everyone gets together and closes the eyes. And to each of the issue, we do this… If you're happy and you know it clap your hands.(Clap!Clap!) ”
Funny? Anyone?
